When is Homecoming Weekend?

Homecoming Weekend will take place October 8–11, 2026. Planning is already underway to ensure a meaningful and well-coordinated experience for our class. You can expect an 2016-event everyday (Thursday-Sunday).

Is there a host hotel (hotel block)?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We've secured an exclusive room block at The Starling Atlanta Midtown for our Class of 2016 Homecoming weekend. We encourage you to book early, as rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here to reserve your room.

Question 3

Can we purchase the class shirt if we buy the Tailgate-Only Package? Can we buy the shirt separately?

Accepted Answer

No. The class shirt and additional exclusive Homecoming swag are only included with the purchase of the All-Access Package. These items are not available for separate purchase or with the Tailgate-Only Package.

Question 4

When will Homecoming packages price increase?

Accepted Answer

We haven't announced a price increase date just yet. We encourage you to purchase your package as soon as possible to secure the current pricing before any future adjustments are made.

Question 5

Is the Class of 2016 Tailgate Tent at Spelman or Morehouse?

Accepted Answer

The Class of 2016 Tailgate Tent will be located on Morehouse's campus. Exact location is TBD.

Question 6

Does my package include a plus one?

Accepted Answer

No. Homecoming packages are valid for one person only and do not include a plus one. All guests must purchase their own Homecoming package or individual event tickets to attend.

Question 7

Will individual tickets be available for each event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Individual tickets for our Thursday, Friday, and Sunday events will be available for purchase at a later date, subject to availability. Please note:Access to the Class of 2016 Tailgate Tent is only available with the purchase of a Homecoming package (either the VIP Package or the Tailgate-Only Package) and cannot be purchased as a standalone ticket.The official tailgate admission ticket is not included in any of the packages and must be purchased from Morehouse directly. The SpelHouse 2016 packages provides access to our private Class of 2016 tent experience, open bar, food, and activations once inside.

Are children allowed?

Accepted Answer

Children are welcome to attend the official Homecoming Tailgate; however, they are not permitted inside the Class of 2016 Tailgate Tent. We encourage parents to make childcare arrangements if they plan to spend time in the class tent. Children may also attend the Sunday Community Service event when accompanied by an adult who has purchased a Homecoming package or event ticket, as applicable.

Question 9

Can I upgrade from the Tailgate-Only Package to the All-Access Package later?

Accepted Answer

No. Once a package has been purchased, it cannot be upgraded or exchanged. Please review both package options carefully before completing your purchase.

Question 10

Can I transfer my package to someone else if I can no longer attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes. This functionality is available through POSH and it is up to your own discretion. We are not liable if you send it to the wrong person. Please ensure you double check who you are transferring the ticket to.

Are packages and tickets refundable?

Accepted Answer

All sales are final. No refunds.

Question 12

How will I get access into all of the events when I buy the package?

Accepted Answer

You will get a festival-styled wristband which will serve as your ticket and give you VIP-Access to all of the events.

Question 13

Where do I pick up my homecoming package wristband?

Accepted Answer

We will communicate pick-up dates and times for all homecoming packages. Stay tuned for more updates on that.
