The year 2026 marks the 10-Year Reunion of the Class of 2016. This milestone is an opportunity for us to reconnect as brothers, celebrate our shared journey, and recommit ourselves to one another and to dear old Mother Morehouse.
Reunion Weekend will take place May 15–18, 2026. Planning is already underway to ensure a meaningful and well-coordinated experience for our class.
Monthly town halls are designed to ensure transparency, shared ownership, and consistent engagement across the class. These sessions will provide updates on:
• Reunion programming and logistics
• Class communications and engagement
• Financial progress toward our class goals
Our first town hall will be held on Thursday, January 29 at 8:00 PM EST via Zoom, with sessions continuing monthly through early May.
Morehouse and Spelmans' goal is to raise $50,000 (separately) by June 30, the end of the fiscal year. This goal reflects our desire to represent the Class of 2016 with excellence and unity during our reunion year.
As of now, Morehouse '16 has raised approximately $26,000 toward our $50,000 goal.
Spelman '16 has raised approximately (?) towards the $50,000 goal.
Our primary recommendation is a MINIMUM $20.16 per month per classmate through monthly recurring giving. This approach allows for manageable participation while creating consistent momentum toward our goal.
No. Monthly giving is encouraged but not required. All contributions—monthly or one-time—are appreciated and valued. Participation at any level strengthens our collective impact.
Recurring giving provides stability, predictability, and shared responsibility. When many brothers commit consistently, the burden is lighter, and the collective outcome is stronger.
Class giving is a key component of our reunion preparation and legacy. Strong participation allows us to show up unified and prepared during Homecoming 2026 and Reunion Weekend, reflecting pride in our class and our institution.
Yes. Members of the finance and communications teams will be reaching out personally to answer questions, provide clarity, and assist classmates with setup or participation.
Engagement matters. Attending town halls, sharing information with classmates, encouraging participation, and showing up during Homecoming and Reunion are all meaningful ways to support the Class of 2016.
You are encouraged to bring questions to the monthly town halls or respond directly to communications from the Class Council, Reunion Planning Committee, or outreach team members.
